What getprobatehelp.com.au is

This site exists because government and court websites explain probate procedure without ever answering the questions families actually have: do I need it, what will it cost, and how long will it take. We answer those questions plainly, state by state, and connect readers with fixed-fee lawyers when they want one.

We are an information and referral service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and nothing on this site should be treated as advice about your specific situation.

How we make money — referral disclosure

Law firms listed in our directory, or that receive enquiries through our quote form, pay us a flat marketing fee. This fee:

• is a fixed advertising charge, never a share of any firm's fees in your matter;
• does not change the price any firm quotes you; and
• does not influence the information in our guides, which is written independently of any firm.

Firms appearing on this site have disclosed this arrangement as required by their professional conduct rules. The full statement is on our disclaimer page.

How we keep information current

Court fees, forms and processing times change — usually each July. Every guide shows its last-updated date, and we review state pages against each Supreme Court's published schedules. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
