Disclaimer & referral disclosure
The two things every reader should know about this site. Last updated 20 August 2026.
General information only
getprobatehelp.com.au publishes general information about probate and deceased estate administration in Australia. It is not legal advice and must not be relied on as such. Probate law, court fees, bank thresholds and processing times differ between states and change over time — figures on this site are current as at the date shown on each page, and we recommend confirming any figure that matters to you with the relevant Supreme Court registry, institution, or a qualified lawyer.
Referral disclosure
This site is funded by law firms. Specifically:
- Firms pay a flat marketing fee to be listed in our directory and/or to receive enquiries submitted through our quote form.
- The fee is a fixed advertising charge. It is never a percentage of, or contingent on, any fees you pay a firm, and it is not fee-sharing in any legal matter.
- The fee does not change the price a firm quotes you — you pay the same as if you'd approached the firm directly.
- Editorial content in our guides is written independently and is not reviewed or approved by any listed firm.
Participating firms disclose this arrangement in accordance with the professional conduct rules of their state. If you'd like to know whether a specific firm you were matched with paid a marketing fee, ask us or the firm — the answer is yes for all matched firms, and both will confirm it.
